Our Junior High and Senior High youth groups meet each week and are filled with fun programs and meaningful outreach adventures throughout the year.

First Annual

Marlborough Area Youth

Summer Service Weekend

July 19-21, 2019

WHAT

The Marlborough Area Youth Summer Service Weekend is an intensive 3-day event that helps local youth grow in faith through service to our Marlborough neighbors. Youth will be performing hands-on age-appropriate home repair projects for elderly, low-income, veteran, and disabled families. The work at each home will be done by teams of young people and adult advisors and is free to the resident, including all materials needed. Samples of projects may include but are not limited to

WHEN

Wednesday, July 17th – Barbeque Kick-off at Lake from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Friday, July 19th through Sunday, July 21st -- meet at MCC at 8:00 am

Saturday, July 20th – 5:00 pm Pizza Social at St. John Fisher

Sunday, July 21st – Ice cream Social at Lake from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm

WHERE

Each day we will meet at MCC at 8:00 am. After signing in and a brief blessing, we will move in teams to our assigned locations. Lunch will be provided each day (see the registration form for choices), along with snacks and drinks. On Friday, we will arrive back at MCC at 5:00 pm for parent pick-up. Saturday we will travel to St John Fisher for a 5:00 pm pizza social and parent pick-up. On Sunday, we will go to Blish Park at 4:00 pm for an ice cream social and parent pick-up.

COST

$20 per volunteer, with a family cap of $50; Includes lunch daily, snacks, drinks, and a T shirt

TO REGISTER:

Print the registration forms, complete and return them to the MCC office along with payment
