  • Have there been times in your life that have reached out and helped someone in need?
  • Have there been times in your life that you regret not helping someone in need?
  • In the Good Samaritan story, what could be the reason(s) the two men walked by the robbed man?
  • When Jesus is asked “who is my neighbor?”, Jesus shares the story of the Good Samaritan. The story focuses on a single man, but Jesus is relaying a more universal meaning. How would you answer the question “who is my neighbor?”
  • In the Good Samaritan story, the lawyer asks Jesus – “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” What do you think the lawyer expects the answer to be? Is the question and Jesus’ answer important to you?
  • How would you apply the story of the Good Samaritan to your own life?
