• Is there anything surprising about this first miracle of Jesus?
• Would you expect Jesus first miracle to be different than this?
• Does Jesus’ manner with his Mother seem disrespectful?

• Actually, Mary is only referred to as “his Mother” in this passage, why do you suppose that is?
