Christ The King Sunday

Questions:

• This week marks the end of Year B in our liturgical calendar, Advent marks the beginning of our Church calendar. Do you feel you have grown spiritually in this past year?
• Pilot asks Jesus if he is a King, do you see Jesus as a King? On Earth or in Heaven? Or both?
• In Jesus exchange with Pilot he asks “Who do people say that I am?”  Who do people say that you are?
• How did others in your past (parents, friends, partners) define who you were/are?
• Pilot asks Jesus “what is truth?” What does this mean?
• We get an indication that Pilot was unsure, and trying to give Jesus an out.  Can you speculate on what the rest of Pilot’s life must have been like knowing Jesus had done nothing wrong?
